Ida Amelia Boyer was born on Sept. 1, 1878 in Payne Paulding Ohio. She was the daughter of Margaret Neigh and William Boyer. Ida married John Sturgeon Bush of NE the son of Allen Bush and Mary Ellen Sturgeon on August 28, 1895 She had two children with John-William Allen Bush and Lettie Viola Bush. John Bush died abt. 1902-1903 in Nebraska. Ida then married Joe Himmelright, the son of William Jacob Himmelright and Mulvina Day. She had 7 children with Joe Himmelright: Grace, Aaron, Vernon, Ruby, Paul, Nellie, and Ida (Little Ida) Himmelright. Ida died on July 21, 1969 in Hubbard Co. MN and was laid to rest in the Nary Cemetery on July 25, 1969. She died of heart disease/heart failure, her certificate of death also lists diabetes as a contributing factor. She was 90 years old. Because she lived in Nary, MN near Bemidji, MN, my father Keith Himmelright remembers all of her wonderful family get-togethers and referring to her as "Grandma Nary" |

Ida's father William Henry Boyer was born on September 13, 1847 in Bechtelville, PA, he was laid to rest in 1904 near Deer Creek, MN William Henry Boyer was married to Margaret Euphemia Neigh, born on July 30,1852 in Ohio, the daughter of Peter Neigh and Hester Sampsell on December 26, 1872. Together they had 5 children: Elizabeth Boyer- married Samuel Tilden Kearney George Sanford Boyer-born on July 4, 1875 married Nettie Mae Kearney on August 25, 1897. Nellie, and Ida (little Ida) Himmelright. Francis Arron Boyer-born on October 11, 1880 in Payne, Ohio, married to Laura Harthun on March 10, 1916 VA, MN. He died on September 21, 191 in Duluth, MN Children: Leona Florence Boyer m. Alford C. Anderson, Eileen Doris Boyer married Hank Kiesling and Carl Markstone, and Vivian Boyer. Henry Owen Boyer-born on October 30, 1886 married Elizabeth Carte Children: Francis Boyer, Hazel Boyer, and Everette Boyer married Mary. |
